TeleHealth- Mobile App & Web interface. With RGVN in Morigaon, Assam, India. 

 

TeleHealth App for Morigaon, Assam: This initiative aims to improve the health of rural communities by utilizing modern tools such as smartphones and telehealth apps.  And the internet. The program  pilot will train 10 social service providers to monitor health parameters like blood sugar, blood pressure, body temperature, pulse rate, and oxygen levels. The service providers will also schedule patient appointments, upload prescriptions, and test reports for remote specialist doctors. Additionally, the telehealth app will connect rural patients with doctors and medical professionals, enabling them to access medical care from the convenience of their village. Sakhis and Asha workers will provide basic medical support, and all medical histories will be stored electronically for easy access. 

 

The program's uniqueness lies in its focus on strengthening existing health facilities and sensitizing doctors towards community-based services, while also engaging more people in the villages to get proper diagnosis and raising awareness through health checkups.
